Patsy J. Williams

Patsy J. Williams, age 85 of Arthur, Tennessee, passed away and was received into the arms of Savior on Thursday, July 4, 2024.  She was born on November 18, 1938, in Arthur, Tennessee to the late Alvis and Janishey Billingsley.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Joseph Williams; and brother and sisters, Luther Billingsley, Mable Wylie, and Alma Branscome.

She was a faithful member of Gap Creek Baptist Church.  She began attending when she was four years old with her two older sisters and was saved and baptized at Gap Creek when she was 12 years old.  She has served as a Sunday School teacher, WMU director, and choir member, and loved her church dearly.

She is survived by her sister, Martha Nell Chumley; children, Robin (Nathan) McAllister, Steve (Nancy) Williams, and Sharon (Gary) Rosenau; grandchildren, Trish (Eric) Irvin, Joshua (Jessica) McAllister, Jessica (Ben) Brown, Jacob McAllister, Jason (Amy) Williams, Devon (Donnie) Walker, Michael (Gina) Rosenau, Brent Rosenau, and Bethany (Steven) Baker; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Irvin, Jeremiah Irvin, Caleb Irvin, Jayden McAllister, Jaxon McAllister, Jessilyn McAllister, Joshua Calp, Chloe Brown, Maks Brown, Miles Brown, Jeremy Williams, Kailey Williams, Stacey Walker, Shyann Walker, Megan Rosenau, Caleb Rosenau, Faith Rosenau, Natosha Smith, Misty Rosenau, Justin Rosenau, Brandon Rosenau, Isaiah Baker, Benjamin Baker, and Ella Baker; great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Services will be held at Gap Creek Baptist Church with visitation on Monday, July 8, 2024, from 5-7 PM with the funeral to follow at 7 PM with Rev. Terry England and Rev. Garrett Tucker officiating.  Music will be provided by the Gap Creek Praise Team.  Graveside services will be held at 11 AM at Kibert Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Joshua McAllister, Eric Irvin, Ben Brown, Nicholas Irvin, Jeremiah Irvin, and Caleb Irvin.
