Patricia D. Hampton

Patricia D. Garrison Hampton, 74, of Pineville, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2016 at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Jenson on August 28, 1942, a daughter of the late Brodis and Edna Smith Garrison. She had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Hampton, son, Terry Lynn Hampton, grandson, Terry Hampton, Jr. and brother and sisters, Frankie Lee Lefevers, Ginny Sue Williams, Barbara Ann Bruner, Charlotte Golden and Patsy Jewell Garrison. Survivors include her children and spouses, Wayne and Kathy Hampton, Wilma Hampton and Dr. Michael Jones, Eddie and Deborah Hampton, Jerry Hampton and Renee and Scott Hicks; grandchildren, Carrie North, Samantha Adams, April Brown, William Hampton, Jennifer Galloway, Heather Adams, Stephanie Hill, Eddie Hampton, Jr., Knesia Hampton, Josh Logan, Derek Hicks and Heather Hicks; twenty-one great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Linda Hamlin, Ben Garrison, Sam Garrison and Diann Morgan and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Grubbs and Dr. Steven Morgan. Burial will be in the Jenson Cemetery at Jenson. Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandsons-in-law, William Hampton, Eddie Hampton, Jr., Derek Hicks, Scott North, Jeremy Hill, Dan Galloway, Nick Adams, Dustin Adams, Joe Brown and Bobby Caldwell. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Arivanda Padmanabhan, Dr. Michael Rukavina and Dr. Steven Morgan. Special thanks to Hospice of the Blue Grass, CNA Susan and nurse Constance. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 until 9 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville which is honored to serve the Hampton Family.
