Oma Garland Evans

Oma Marie Garland Evans, age 47, went to be with the Lord on July 4, 2006 at her home. She was surrounded by her family and friends and special cousin and caregiver, Judy Bennett.

She was born on July 17, 1958 in Fork Ridge, TN the daughter of the late Burn 'P.I.' and Nanna Ruth (Herron) Garland. She believed in the Pentecostal Faith.

She was preceded in death by her infant son, Daniel Richard Garland and her brother Rickie Allen Garland.

Oma was loved by many, including her church family, Old Pathway Gospel Church of LaFollette.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 7, 2006 at Reece Valley Chapel with Rev. James Leach and Rev. Johnson officiating.

Burial in the Shoffner Cemetery.
