Norma Ann Money Scott

Norma Ann Money Scott, 75, of Pineville, went to her heavenly home to be with her Maker on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Little Clear Creek in Bell County, Kentucky, September 19, 1940. She was the eldest daughter of the late Ed and Mae (Newport) Money. She was a proud graduate of the Appalachian School of Nursing and enjoyed many years as a nurse before her retirement. She was a loving mother, proud Nana/Nona, beloved sister, treasured aunt and the most trusted best friend to many. Norma's hunting and fishing skills are legendary as are her championship level Scrabble skills. In addition to her Warrior Spirit, she had a sharp wit and an unparalleled sense of humor. She loved her mountain home and all the forest creatures (except squirrels)! In addition to her beloved parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Money and her devoted companion Conrad (Mr. C) Campbell. Survivors include: dearest sisters, June and husband, Don Williams, Jannette Money, and baby brother Ralph Money, a dear cousin Claudette Miracle, her devoted daughters and their husbands, Melody and Brent Goodin and Melinda and Doug Wells and her most cherished grandchildren Miles English Goodin (Holli), H. Douglas Wells, III (Susan), Anna Mae Wells (Patrick), Samuel Quince Goodin, Thomas Langley Goodin, and Benjamin Alexander Wells, a very special granddaughter Julie Ann (Nick) Miracle, one precious great grandson Brayden Reese Miracle and one honorary grandson Jacob 'Kid' Napier, as well as a host of nieces and nephews, long time friend Tammy Neal plus countless other friends. Services will be 1:00 PM Friday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Denny Hunter. Burial will follow in the Fuson Chapel Cemetery at Little Clear Creek with her grandchildren serving as pallbearers. Her daughters would like to thank their Pineville Community Hospital family for their tender loving care over these many years, with special love and gratitude to Dr. Talmadge V. Hays and Dr. Martha Combs for their outstanding professionalism and for saving her so many times.
