Noel Etna Goins

Noel Etna Goins, 83, of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the North Knoxville Medical Center in Powell. He was born in Cumberland Gap on April 8, 1942, a son of the late Etna Miller Goins and Otella Hazel Gulley Goins. He had worked in the strip mines as a Grader Driver. He served his country in the United States Army for 3 years in Germany. He was a member of the Shawanee Lodge #546 for 60 years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Goins.

Noel is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janice Saylor Goins; sons, Steven H. and Bethany Goins and Noel Christopher Goins; grandchildren, Stephanie Goins, Jennifer Brown and Mikey, Emily Goins and Dillon, and Kaitlyn Goins; great-grandchildren, Autumn, Caleb, Colt, Abby, Lincoln, Leighton, Lennon, Ava and Natalie; nephews, Hank Goins and Darryl Powell; special friends, Robert Baker, Bill Sowder, and Raymond and Ginger Baker; and a host of many good friends and family.

Following Noel’s request, private services will be provided by the family.
