Nellie Mccabe

Nellie McCabe, 99, of Balkan, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2009 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in East Pineville on October 14, 1909 a daughter of the late Ewing and Julety Johnson Jackson. A homemaker, she believed in the Holiness faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie F. McCabe; sons, Hobert McCabe and Oscar McCabe; brothers and sisters, Otis Jackson, Rosetta McGeorge, Walter Jackson, Oscar Jackson and Milt Jackson. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Ruby McCabe, grandchildren, Albert and Teresa McCabe, Charlie McCabe and Audrey and Doug Cremer; eleven great-grandchildren, special nephew, Otis Jackson, Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
