Nancy Jo Slusher, 74, of Calvin, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at the Palmetto Health in Easley, SC after a short illness. She was born in Verda, KY on August 19, 1932 the daughter of the late Henry Calvin and Josie Smith Miracle. She was a member of the Church of God of True Believers and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Gladys Price, brothers, Corum Miracle, Earl Miracle, Rube Miracle and Rev. Alvie Miracle. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Alex L. Slusher of Calvin, seven children, Alan Slusher of Easley, SC, Deborah Barnum of Easley, SC, Mike Slusher of Calvin, KY, Sandra Pursifull of Lexington, KY, Darrell Slusher of Seneca, SC, Jay Slusher of Calvin, and Alex Slusher, Jr. of Lexington, KY; eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; brother, James Miracle and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
