Nancy Louise Dozier

Nancy Dozier, 75, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington. She was born on October 6, 1946 in Cary, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Della and Charlie Laws. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Dozier, Jr.; sister, Irene Laws; brother, Chester Laws; and son-in-law, Tommy Magers. Nancy leaves behind her children, Donna Magers and Jeanette Laws; grandchildren, Luke and Sarah Magers; sister, Naomi Brooks; brothers, Charles and Curtis Laws; honorary granddaughter, Rileigh Smith; honorary daughter, Tish Bishop; best friend, Lisa Smith; and many truly special nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be at 12:30 PM on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew Laws presiding. Burial will follow at the Farley Cemetery in Himyar. Pallbearers will be her adopted grandsons, Kurtis Mann, Zach Losey, Logan Smith, West Osborn, Miles Brandon, Jacob Flora, and grandson, Luke Magers.
