Myrtle Platter

Myrtle Brock Platter, 82, of Independence, KY, formerly of Pineville, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Saint Elizabeth?s Hospital. Born in Stoney Fork, KY on September 20, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Cordia Saylor Brock. She had been an assembly line worker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Andrew Platter, sisters, Brenda Newman, Leona Trastarff, Fredia Brock, brother, Estil Brock. Survivors include her children, Pam Houp, Jeanne Stacy, Becky Kimberlin, Herman Platter, William A. Platter, Jr., and Timothy L. Platter, brothers and sisters, Elmer Brock, Cecil Brock, Marvin Brock, Carl Brock, Glen Brock, Velma Brock and Betty Brock, 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
