Myrtle Letner Moore

Myrtle Eveline Letner Moore, 80, of Pineville, passed awy on Saturday, December 2, 2017. She was born in Fort Mountain, Tennessee on June 16, 1937, and was a daughter of the late Carrick and Truie Stephens Letner. Myrtle had been a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Dorton Branch and worked as a Nurse's Aide in Fort Wayne, Indiana before retiring. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Letner and sisters, Ruby Belle Letner and Lovey Mae and Dovey Lee Letner, who were twins. Survivors include her sister, Macle Cleo Letner Mosley of Keavy, Ky; her brother, Gilbert Roy Letner of Falmouth, KY; aunt, Flora Letner Sexton; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special thank you from the family is extended to Avalon Hospice Care for the love and care given to Myrtle. Funeral services will be on Monday, December 4 at 12:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Dunn. Burial will follow in the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends after 11 AM Monday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to be serving the Letner-Moore Family.
