Myrtle Sizemore Hausenfluck

Myrtle Sizemore Hausenfluck, 87, of Alexandria, formerly of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at her home. She was born in Pineville on January 23, 1937, a daughter of the late Camie and Nora Baker Sizemore. She had worked as a shoemaker in a Shoe Factory. Myrtle was a great mom, very special and strong woman who gave great encouragement to her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Hausenfluck; daughter, Roberta Kling; granddaughter, Brandy Lawless, and eleven brothers and sisters.

Myrtle is survived by her children, Jay Messer and Merry, Rose Garrett and Paul, and Charlene Huber and Mike; special granddaughter Nora Messer who was her companion and care giver; eleven grandchildren; twenty seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Don Sizemore and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to the Emergency Room Staff, Respiratory Staff, and ICU Staff at the Middlesboro ARH, for their care for Richard and the family.

Services will be on Friday at 3:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jamie Horton. The burial

will be in Sizemore Cemetery on Poff Hill, Pineville, KY. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 12 Noon until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
