Myra June Howard

Myra June Lidster Howard, 77 of Pathfork, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021, at her home. She was born in Harlan County on August 7, 1944, a daughter of the late John and Pearl Hayes Lidster. Myra was a member of the Pathfork Holiness Church and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Gene Lidster, Beverly Lidster, Bill Lidster, and Johnny Lidster; and sisters, Patricia Lidster, Regina Ann Weaton, Brenda Lidster, Jenny Emenhizer, Wanda Dennis, Freda Lidster, and Dolly Simpson. Myra is survived by her husband of 58 years, Josh Howard; daughter, Tammy Gibson and husband, Henry; sons, Jeff Howard and wife, Lisa, Josh Howard, Jr. and wife, Kimberly, and Rodney Howard and wife, Bridgette; grandchildren, Wesley Wilder and wife, Jamie, Logan Gibson and wife, Brittany, Jeff Howard and wife, Brandy, Michael Howard, Christian Howard, Justin Burke, Danielle Howard, Josalyn Brooke Goodin and husband, Josh, Savonna Howard, Aleisha Howard, Ashlyn Lefevers and husband, Tanner, and Allison Howard; great-grandchildren, Carly Wilder, Masen Mike, Ryland Burke, Xavier Clark, Peyton Gibson, Sophia Howard, Noel Howard, Brooklyn Howard, Jeffery Howard, Kate Howard, Addilyn Goodin, Cayden Goodin, and Ethan Stewart; sister, Joni Russell; brother, JR Lidster; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at the Pathfork Holiness Church with Rev. Robert Lee presiding. Burial will follow at the Saylor Cemetery in Pathfork with members of the church serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Pathfork Holiness Church.
