Rev. Murphy R. Daniels

Rev. Murphy R. Daniels age 74 of Harrogate was born January 16, 1944 and passed away Monday, July 23, 2018.  He attended Poplar Grove Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his: Parents: Rev. Ulysses and Minnie Daniels, his brother Rev. Ernie Daniels and his first wife Mildred Daniels.  Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years; Sonya Daniels, children; Ronda Daniels, Wanda (Rick) Neeley, grandchildren; Kevin (Dorothy) Daniels and Steve Daniels, great granddaughter; Vayda Daniels.  He is also survived by his brothers; Timmy (Charlotte) Daniels, Foy (Kay) Daniels, Rev. Mack (Burt) Daniels, Eddie (Kathy) Daniels, his sisters; Lois Mize, Hazel (Teddy) Brown, Judy (David) Ellison as well as a host of nieces, nephews, many other loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 6PM until 8PM at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel in Harrogate.  Graveside services will be conducted 12 noon Friday in the Parks Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Bussell and the Rev. Eric Good officiating.  Singers will be Poplar Grove Baptist Church.
