Mrs. Juanita King Gilbert

Mrs. Juanita Gilbert, 83, of Evarts, KY passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Tri-Cities Nursing Home in Cumberland. Juanita was born April 16, 1932 at home in LeJunior, KY, the daughter of the late James 'Jim' and Della King. She married BH 'Jim' Gilbert on October 7, 1954 in Jonesville, VA. Juanita spent her life happily taking care of her husband and two sons. She was a very caring and loving wife and mother to her family. She loved everyone and cared about all she met. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Wilmer King and Granvel Pearl King and one sister, Ollie Depew. Survivors include her husband, Jim Gilbert, two sons, Wendell Lee Gilbert and Darrell Lynn Gilbert, three grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Baird, David Michael Gilbert and Danielle Lashea Gilbert, one great-grandchild, Isaiah Michael Gilbert and her youngest sister, Margret Hoerner of Ohio. A private graveside service was performed in the family cemetery in LeJunior. It was conducted by her grandson, David Michael Gilbert.
