Mossie Posey

Mossie Posey, 63 of Arjay, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at the Pineville Community Health Care in Pineville. She was born in Fourmile on May 18, 1958, a daughter of the late Huey and Nancy Lawson Miller. Mossie was a believer in the Pentecostal Faith and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Kevin Bradshaw; and sisters, Pauline, Edna Lee, Ethel, Delora, Maggie, Flo and Effie. Mossie is survived by her husband of 45 years, Thurman Posey; daughter, Barbara Patterson; granddaughters, Brandy Patterson and Jennifer Patterson; brothers, Bill Miller and Huey Miller; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Jackson presiding. Burial will follow at the Henderson Cemetery in Fourmile with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Posey Family.
