Morgan Helton, Jr., 66 of Indianapolis, IN, formerly of Stoney Fork, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at his home. He was born in Stoney Fork on January 2, 1947 and was a son of the late Morgan Helton, Sr. and Mary Rice Helton Taylor. Morgan was a believer in the Pentecostal faith and had retired as a Heavy Machine Operator for KNF Industrial. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Blair Helton; brother, Bill Helton and sister, Tishia Helton. Survivors include his children, Debra Jean Harper and husband Ray and Jason Wayne Helton; granddaughter, Jessica Harper; mother of his children, Emily Faye Helton; step-sons, Stewart Hensley and Sidney Hensley; sisters, Bertha Wilson and husband, Bobby and Margie Manning and husband Frank; sister-in-law, Ramona Sue Helton and a host of step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Don Messer. Burial will follow at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Thursday morning beginning at 10 AM until funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to be serving the Helton family.
