Monroe Blackburn Slusher, 70, of Pineville, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at North Knoxville Medical Center. He was born in Pineville on November 24, 1947 a son of the late Cody E. and Loraine Miracle Slusher. He had been a general laborer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Bachelder Bailey. Survivors include his wife, Susan Edman Slusher; children, James, Sherry, Monroe, Jr. , Steven, Helena and Alien; brother and sisters, Denver Slusher, Linda Howell and Georgia Brock and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Following Monroe's request, he will be cremated at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, is honored to serve the Slusher Family.
