Misty Gross Upton

Misty Lynn Gross Upton, “Charle and Ryan’s Mom forever 22”, born February 28, 1980, to Joann Cox and Dallas Gross in Pineville, Kentucky. She was a loving mother and member of the Gambrel Food Mart family.

She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Dallas Upton and stepson, Jeffery Scott Hollingsworth.

Left to mourn her passing are her mother, Joann Cox Gross of Middlesboro, Kentucky; her father, Dallas Gross of Harlan, Kentucky; son, Ryan Hollingsworth and fiancé, Ashley Higgins; her lifelong companion, Jeffery Hollingworth and his children, Ashley, Brittany, Brandon, Jeremy and William; sister, Ashley and her fiancé, Brandon Day; brother, Jeremy and wife, Danny; niece, Remy; her Gambrel Foot Mart family and her gravy baby, Keith Gambrel, Carolyn, Sharon, Cindy, Donna, Juanita, Kim, John and Teddy; and all those who came in contact with her knew and saw all the love in her heart, and smile on her face. Everyone who met Misty loved her, she was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Graveside services will be on Friday, October 27, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Green Hills Memorial Gardens in the Gazebo with Rev. Tim H. Mills presiding.

The family will gather with friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Friday at Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro.

Donations are requested to assist with the funeral expenses in lieu of flowers.
