Misty Ponchard

Misty Ponchard, age 57, of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee, passed away unexpectantly on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

Born August 1, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Jack and Shelia Wilson; Misty devoted her life to being a fiercely loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was very strong willed, adventurous and determined. Misty was a self-employed cosmetologist of over twenty years, a massage therapist, an aromatherapist and an over the road truck driver; she could accomplish anything she put her mind to. Even though she passed young she lived a very full life. Misty, described as a social butterfly, will surely be missed by all of those who knew and loved her.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Lethia Wilson and one grandson, Michael Keck.

Survivors include her significant other for over fifteen years, Art Ausmus; four children, Amber Luckadoo, Amanda (Kevin) Keck, Jonas Helton and Stephanie Dodd; and four grandchildren, Ava, Anthony, Bradley and Journey.

Private cremation services were cared for at the Arnett & Steele Cremation Center.
