With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Minnie Cox Sinsabaugh of Arjay, born January 29, 1955, who entered into eternal rest on February 25, 2026, at the age of 71. She was born in Pineville, KY, the youngest daughter to the late Jim and Cerettie Cox. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was a believer in the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Chanie Caldwell, Larry Cox, Hobert Cox, Paul Cox and Jerry Cox; and two special nephews, Paul Cox and Gary Cox.
Minnie is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Michael; her children, Glenna (Mike) Frederick, Chad (Jerrica) Knipp, Justin Sinsabaugh, and James Sinsabaugh; her grandchildren, Morgan, Rachel, Tanner, Myia, Anthony, Samara, Alexius, Eden, Emeory, and Trinity; two great-granddaughters, Olivia and her unborn sister; her siblings, Walter Ballou, Hubert Cox, Rosa Hoskins, and Sarah Fuson; a special niece, Sharon Gambrel; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her family and all who knew her.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 1,2026, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. David Asher and Rev. Ronnie Hoskins officiating. Burial will follow at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro. Pallbearers will be Tanner Collett, Lawson Woods, Ethan Durham, Jake Lawson, Scott Lawson, and Matthew Rayner.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Sinsabaugh Family.
