Millard Griffith

Millard Franklin Griffith, 83, of Pineville, passed away April 21, 2010 at the Middlesboro ARH. He was born in Balkan, KY on August 27, 1926, a son of the late James and Mary Jane Wells Griffith. He was a member of the Varilla Baptist Church and had worked as a security guard. He was a US Navy Veteran, serving during World War 11. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Evelyn Jackson and Juanita Wilson; brother, Hurlos Griffith. Survivors include his wife, Edith May Barnes Griffith; children, Jeffrey Lee Griffith and Jennifer Lynn Griffith; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sister, Nadine Lester; brother, Willard Douglas Griffith; special niece raised as a sister, Helen Rose Howard and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
