Mildred Pass

Mildred (Millie)Ann (Altmaier) Pass, 70, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from medical complications at North Knoxville Medical Center in Middlesboro, Kentucky. She lived in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee with her partner Robert Cottrell. There will be a private service with immediate family. Memorials may be left to the Mildred Pass Memorial Fund.

Mildred was born on July 31, 1947 the daughter of Mary Sue (Rooke) and William Altmaier, in Billings, Montana. She attended Billings Central High School and was just shy of graduating and pursued a vocation in beauty school. Millie enjoyed playing bingo and with her dogs.

Those she left behind include her four children, Kathleen (Andrew) VanDeWoestyne, Durand, IL; Elizabeth (Dennis) Ghormley, Vancouver, Washington; Michael Essy, Portland, Oregon; William (Joe) Anderson, Portland, Oregon. She has 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  Millie is also survived by her sister, Mary Joan Dahl, Davenport, IA, and her brother William Altmaier, Pearland, TX.

Millie was preceded in death by her parents Mary Sue (Rooke) and William Altmaier.
