Michael Rutherford

Michael Anthony ?Boots? Rutherford, 46 of Dorton Branch in Pineville passed away on Saturday in Middlesboro. He was born in Pineville on June 29, 1964, and is the son of Clarence and Edna Overton Rutherford, who survive. Michael was a member of Calvary Holiness Church and had been a Coal Miner for 26 years at Lone Mountain Processing?s Darby Fork Mine. He was preceded in death by the mother of his son?s, Barbara McCoy Rutherford; cousins, Timmy Bingham, David Norris, Ronnie Rose and David Hall; brothers-in-law, Johnny McCoy and Tim Warren. In addition to his parents, survivors include his loving wife of 4 years, Diana Strunk Rutherford; sons, Michael Anthony Rutherford, Jr. of Dorton Branch and Joshua Shawn Rutherford and fiancé, Beth Mikesell of Dorton Branch; step-daughters, Monica Good and Tuesday Good, both of Middlesboro; granddaughter, Sierra Lasha Rutherford; grandsons, Bryson and Dylan Baker and Devin Lefevers; sisters, Deborah Kay Rutherford of Pineville, Karen Michelle Emery of Middleboro, Lisa Gale Warren of Middleboro and Jennifer Louise Rutherford of Pineville; special friends, John and Wanda McCoy, Joe Rutherford, Jeff Allen, Ronnie ?Hack? Miller, Phillip Hickman, Randall Daniels and all his fellow miners, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
