Michael Edward Jones

Michael Edward Jones, age 56, was born February 2, 1967 passed away unexpectedly February 6, 2023 at his home in Knoxville, TN.

Mike was born in Pennington gap va to Benjamin Edward and Peggy Lou jones. Mike was a 1990 graduate of Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN. He studied business and finance. He served in the National Guard from 1985-1989.  Mike worked construction in Knoxville TN and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing and farming.

He was preceded in death by his mother Peggy Lou Jones on December 27, 2003 and father Benjamin Edward Jones on April 26, 2020.

He is survived by his son Michael Edward Jones II and Jason Mathew Jones.  Twin sister Michelle Crumley and husband Randy. Niece Lauren Colburn and nephew Lee Colburn. Younger sister Deanna Moore and husband Jarrod. Nieces Alyssa, Anna and nephew Jake.

There will be a gathering of family and friends Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 1PM until 3PM at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
