Michael Wayne Hammoc

Michael Wayne “Mike” Hammoc, 69, of Harrogate, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at his home. He was born on February 8, 1956 in Ewing, Virginia, and was the son of the late Jack and Hazel Ayers Hammock. Mike had worked in several factories in the area until he retired.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Danny, Fred, and James Hammack, and his sister, Christene Hammack.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Donna Bishop Hammoc; son, Wayne Hammoc; grand-daughter, Allee Hammoc; siblings, Patsy Jay and husband, Kelly, Kathy Warf and Husband, Jerry, Darrell Hammack and wife, Lisa, Debbie Ippariquire, Missy Webb and husband, Arlin; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel with Rev. Michael Joe Gray and Mr. Arlin Webb officiating. Music will be by the Derek Massengill Family. Burial will follow in the Mountainview Cemetery in Harrogate with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel in Harrogate, which is honored to be serving the Hammoc family.
