Michael E. Burchett, 56, of Harrogate, TN, went to be with the Lord Feb. 15, 2011 at his home with his family by his side. Born June 16, 1954, son of the late Clarence and Mary Yeary Burchett, who survives. Michael retired from truck driving out of Springfield, OH and was currently employed at American Oxygen, out of Tazewell, TN. A lifelong member of Riverside Baptist Church. He held a seat as deacon there. He also was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Big Spring Union # 581 of Harrogate, TN for 34 years. Preceded in death by father, Clarence Burchett; mother & father-in-law, Helen & Fred Hammack; nephew, Trevor Hammack.

Survivors, loving wife of 38 years, Patsy Hammack Burchett, Harrogate; sons, Joshua (& Allison) Burchett and Justin (&Crystal) Burchett; 4 grandchildren, Cameron, Jacob, Chloe, and Cayden Burchett; his devoted mother, Mary Burchett, Harrogate, TN; 2 sisters, Carolyn (& Virgil) Longworth, Harrogate and Sandra (& Paul) Vanover, Ewing, VA; 2 brothers, Dennis and Randy Burchett, Harrogate, TN. A host of nieces, nephews family and friends. Michael helped many people while he was with us and will be sadly missed by all.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Riverside Baptist Church in Tazewell with Rev. Tyler Debusk and Rev. Shelvie Fultz officiating. Music by Brenda Longworth, Arbie & Nancy Fultz and Haley Henard. Burial in the Burchett Cemetery.
