Michael Scott Baker

Michael Scott Baker, 68 of Pineville, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022, at his home. He was born in Pineville on July 3, 1954, a son of the late Walter Scott Baker and Vivian Wilson Kneisel. Mike served in the Kentucky National Guard and had been a manager and a clerk for Wal-Mart for many years.

Mike is survived by his wife of 17 years, Norma Wooten Hensley Baker; daughter, Ashley Baker Elam; stepchildren, Glenda Gore, Glen Elswick, Debra Hensley Bowling, and Michael Lee Hensley; brother, Terry and Janice Baker; sister, Mona Baker and Ken Norman; half-brother, John and Karen Kneisel; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Howard presiding. Burial will follow at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
