Melissa Ann Saylor

Melissa Ann Lindley Saylor, 49, passed away due to an automobile accident on August 30, 2017. She was born in Red Bay, Alabama on June 24, 1968 and was a daughter of Shelby Dean Lindley and Patricia Pruitt Rogers. She loved to use her God given talent to play her electric guitar in church at Crockett-Saylor Pentecostal and Jenson Holiness Churches and many other surrounding churches. She was beloved by many. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Arlis and Gladys Lindley and maternal grandparents, Travis and Faye Pruitt. Survivors include her Dad, Shelby Dean Lindley of Red Bay, AL; Momma, Patricia Rogers of Belmont, MS; brothers, Ricky Lindley and Natasha of Red Bay, AL, Jason Rogers and Whitney of Belmont, MS, Shelby Lindley and Stephanie of Greenville SC; sisters, Rebecca Crumpton and Allen of Red Bay, AL, Angela Durward and Scott of Belmont, AL, Teresa Aldridge and Bobby of Red Bay AL, Sue Ellen Strickland and Duncan of Fairview, MS; special friends, Sheila Saylor, Lola Brock, Rita Hoskins, Freda Taylor, Megan Miller and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends. Services will be on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Crocket-Saylor Pentecostal Church with Rev. Ronnie Hoskins and Rev. Richard Asher. Music will be by the Church family. Burial will be in Red Bay Free Holiness Church Cemetery at Red Bay, Alabama. The family will receive friends on Saturday after 5:00 PM until the funeral hour on Sunday at the Crockett-Saylor Pentecostal Church.
