Mccoy Hunley Lankford

McCoy Hunley Lankford, 71. of Fourmile, KY, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Saint Joseph Hospital in London. He was born in Fields, KY on October 27, 1946, and was a son of the late Willie Hunley and Winnie Warren Lankford. 'Coy' was a caretaker and devoted his life to looking after his mother and father. He had also been a member of Job Corps. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Russell Lankford, Curtis Lankford and Sherly Lankford; a brother -in-law, Ronald Helton, Sr., niece, Ladesia Helton and nephews, Ronald Helton, Jr., Houston Lankford and Lee Mays. Survivors include his siblings, LeRoy Lankford and wife, Jill, Ray Lankford, Joyce Helton, Ulyess Lankford, Wanda Morrison and husband, Leonard, Cillis Gene Lankford and wife, Dell, and Patsy Heath and husband, Lamar; sister-in-law, Shirley Jean Lankford; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 2 at the Lankford Cemetery in Fourmile with Rev. Bill Dunn and Mr. Steve Lankford. Pallbearers will be Trevor Lowe, Adam Lowe, Alex Lowe, Tyler Lankford, Steven Lankford, Ronnie Hleton, III, Dustin Kixon and Ricky West.
