Matt Belcher, Jr.

Matt Belcher, Jr. (Supercat) born on December 14, 1945 in Redbird, Kentucky passed away August 29, 2021 in Pineville, Kentucky. He served his country by serving in the United States Army. He was a retired coal truck driver and avid horse-back rider. He loved to laugh and always had a smile on his face. Matt is survived by his son, Matthew Joseph “Joe” Belcher and wife, Mawnie; grandsons, Matthew Belcher and Justin Belcher of London, Kentucky; granddaughters, Holly Belcher, of Berea, Kentucky and Hannah Belcher of Berea, Kentucky; daughter, Charlotte Belcher Welch and husband, Tray Welch; granddaughters, Whitney Welch, Sarah Welch, and Laura Welch of Knoxville, Tennessee; brother-in-law, George Krzeminski of Chicago, Illinios; nephew, Eric Krzeminski of Atlanta, Georgia; nieces, Liza Jefferies of Lafollette, Tennessee and Anya Wright of Lafollette, Tennessee. He also leaves behind many special friends that were near and dear to his heart, including a host of cousins that were more like brothers and sisters to him. He is preceded in death by with his wife, Dianne Krzeminski Belcher; son, Mark Belcher; and parents, Matt and Tilda Belcher. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Daniels presiding. Burial will follow at the family cemetery located at Brown’s Cemetery in Bledsoe, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Ricky Daniels, Cody Asher, Lawrence Caldwell, Justin Belcher, Matthew Belcher and Joe Belcher. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Wayne Johnson and Teddy Brock. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Belcher Family.
