Mary Taylor Watts, 83, of Pineville, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at her home. She was born in Pineville on October 19, 1928, a daughter of the late Wilse and Rosie Hensley Taylor. She was a member of the Cary Church of God of Prophecy and had retired from the Pineville Community Hospital as a dietician clerk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Watts; son, Philip Lee Watts Jr.; grandsons, Daniel and Jeff Watts; great-grandchild, James Watts; brothers and sister, Sherman Taylor, Thurman Taylor, Truman Taylor, Lee Taylor; Herman Taylor, Howard Taylor, Della Laws, Senie Smith and America Taylor. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Custer and Drusilla Watts, Shirley Watts, Bobby and Phyllis Watts, Judy and David Widener; Howard and Regina Watts, Sally and Phillip Widener, all of Straight Creek; Betty and Albert Dahn of Flat Lick, KY and Carolyn and Ted Wells of Corbin; daughter-in-law, Vicki Watts of Straight Creek; twenty-two grandchildren, forty-six great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Roscoe Taylor, Willard Taylor, Lonnie Smith, Ethel Taylor, Dolly Grubbs and Loretta Laws, special sister-in-law, Dorothy Bays and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
