Mary Lou (Powell) Brooks

The Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Mary Lou Brooks.

Mary Lou (Powell) Brooks, age 64 of Harrogate, TN passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. She was a proud member of Underwood Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; Onzie and Opal (Clark) Powell, niece; Lori Russell, nephew; Junior Powell and son-in-law; Jesse Adam Treadaway.

She is survived by her loving husband; Bobby Brooks, children; Ursula Treadaway and Brandon Powell Brooks, granddaughter; Hannah G. Treadaway, brothers; Jimmy Powell and wife Marcella, Larry Powell, sisters; Connie Russell, Priscilla Alexander and husband Jerry, Beverly Joye Conley and her best friend Rita Mabe Smith. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, a host of other loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 6PM until 8PM with funeral services to follow at 8PM in the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel with eulogy provided by Rick Rigsby.

Family and friends will meet 2PM Friday at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel to go in procession to the Hooper Cemetery for 3PM entombment services.
