Mary North

Mary Alice North, 63, of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2007 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Little Clear Creek on March 28, 1944 the daughter of the late Lewis and Bertha Smith Gregory. She was baptized at the Fuson Chapel Baptist Church and was currently a member at Calvary Baptist Church. She had been a homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, RE North, brothers, J.D. Gregory, Harve Gregory, Oliver Gregory and H.L. Henry Gregory. Survivors include her five daughters and their spouses, Belinda and John Vancleave of Pineville, Kathy and Chris Bowen of Corbin, Lillie and Reed Harris of Lexington, Sally North of Pineville and Mary and Mike Liford of Pineville; grandchildren, Michael Liford of Pineville, Jubal North of Pineville and Alicia Harris of Lexington; sisters, Bertha Faye Knuckles of Flat Lick, Nancy Brummett of Tellico Plains and Susie Earls of Tellico Plains; brothers, Estille Gregory of Pineville, Earl Gregory of Pineville, Otis Gregory of Troy, OH and Lewis J. Gregory of Tipp City, OH; special sister-in-law, Evelyn Gregory of Pineville, special friends, Elsie North, Frank Hoskins, Bell Senior Citizens Group of Pineville and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
