Mary Louise Neff

Mary Louise Sulfridge Neff, of Flat Lick, went home peacefully with her family by her side, on Friday, January 3, 2014 at Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Straight Creek on May 21, 1937 a daughter of the late Bert and Bonnie Sulfridge. She had been a housekeeper for many people threw out her lifetime until strokes took her ability to maintain physically. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Neff, her brothers, Hobart, Melvin, and Donald Sulfridge, father and mother-in-law, Ida Mae and Harry Neff, special daughter-in-law Brenda Sue Neff, special grandson-in-law Harold Hacker , nephew, Bill Sulfridge and many uncles and aunts. Left to mourn Louise passing are five children, Larry Neff of Arjay, Sharon and Thomas Johnson of Cubbage, Judy and Ronnie Gray of Flat Lick, Mary Lefevers of Pineville and Donald Neff, Jr. of Flat Lick, two nephews, Bobby and Don Jr. Sulfridge, ten grandchildren, Jennifer, Sam, Timothy, Rachel, Tracie, Adam, Wayne, Burton, Clay and Sherry, seventeen great-grandchildren and a very special sister-in-law, Betty Sulfridge, a special friend in the Lord, Chriscillan Patterson of Arjay, and a host of other relatives and many friends. Funeral Information Services will be Monday, January 6, at 1:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gary Wagner. Music will be by Julie Wagner. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery at Harrogate, Tennessee with grandsons, family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family received friends on Sunday from 3 until 7 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Neff family.
