Mary Evelene Frye

Mary Evelene Heatherly Frye, 72 of Ewing, Virginia passed away on Monday, March 24, 2013 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. She was born in Westburn, Tennessee on April 7, 1941 and was a daughter of the late John Henderson and Nanny Belle Bailey Heatherly. Evelene had been a homemaker for most of her life and, along with her husband Charles, was a faithful servant of the Lord, evangelizing together for many years together. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Gilbert Heatherly, Rose May Ivy, James Heatherly, Johnnie Heatherly, Earnest Heatherly, Ruth Kimbrer and Myrtle Heantherly. Survivors include her husband, Charles Frye; brothers and sisters, Betty Hughes, George Heatherly, and Billy Ray Heatherly and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 1:00 PM Friday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Spencer Burkhart. Burial will follow the services. The family will receive friends from 10 until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Frye Family. Visitation
