Mary "Louise" Collins

Mary “Louise” Collins, age 76, of Tazewell, Tennessee, passed away at Claiborne County Medical Center on Monday, September 21, 2026.

Born in Middlesboro, Kentucky, on June 6, 1950, to the late Lee Roy and Daisy Mae Richardson, Louise devoted her life to being a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a lifelong homemaker who loved reading and studying her bible. Louise was a firm believer in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was an avid animal lover who never let an animal go away hungry. Louise will surely be missed by her loving family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Conley “Vaughn” Collins; her only son, Dusty Collins; and three brothers, Leroy Richardson, Larry Richardson and James Barton.

Survivors include two granddaughters, Zoey Brooks and Piper Collins; one brother; Sam (Rebecca) Richardson; two sisters, Athene (Ron) Johnson and Lucy Barton; and a host of many special nieces, nephews and friends.

Cremation services to be provided by Arnett & Steele Cremation Services.

Interment is planned, at a later date, to reunite Louise with her son at the Cedar Fork Cemetery.
