Mary Mason Caswell

Mary Francis Mason Caswell, 94, of Cincinnati, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Tri-State Health and Rehab Center in Harrogate. She was born on July 14, 1917 in Pineville, a daughter of the late George and Rosa (Mason) Mason. She believed in the Baptist Faith and had worked at the Pineville Hospital Cafeteria and in department stores. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons, Harold Ray Ward and Charles Edward Ward; grandson, Joseph E. Ward, IV; brothers, Ed Mason and wife, Mary Jane, Jess Mason and wife, Mary, Gillis Mason and wife, Viola and Bill Mason; sisters, Flo Hall and husband, Glenn and Nellie Mason. Survivors include her sons, Joseph E. Ward, Jr. and wife, Ella June of Pineville and James L. Ward and wife, Lady of Middlesboro; grandchildren, Rev. James Lee Ward, Jr. and wife, Alice of Harrogate; Gina Ward of Middlesboro; and John Edward Ward and wife, DeLynda of Wilkesboro, NC; granddaughter-in-law, Juanita Ward of LaFayette, GA; grandchildren, Erica England, Keisha Ward, Joseph Ward V, Tyler Ward, Parker Ward and Copeland Ward; sister, Cordia Burnett of Knox Co., KY and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
