Mary Christine (Ausmus) Irvin

Mary Christine Irvin, 73 of Speedwell, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at the TriState Health and Rehabilitation Center in Harrogate. She was born on September 6, 1951 in Middleboro, Kentucky and was the daughter of the late Willard Ed and Alberta Mae Irvin Ausmus. Mary had worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant and had been a homemaker for most of her life.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her beloved son, Eddie Wallace; grandson, Shane Collins; great-grandson, Karsen Collins; brothers, Donald Ausmus, David Ausmus, and Eddie Joe Ausmus; sister, Lise Kay Ausmus; and special daughter in love, Mary and Carrie Wallace.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sue Gilpin and husband, Paul, Amanda Bennett, and BJ Bennett, Frank Allen Irvin and wife, Melinda, and Travis Irvin; grandchildren, Shonda Rose and husband, Matthew, Amber Gilpin, Halee Bennett, Conner McNew, Savannah Payne, Madison Partin, Nate Roberts, Alivia Irvin, and Conner Irvin; nine great-grandchildren;  sisters, Lavada, Kathy, Pat, Debra and husband Wayne, and Connie and husband, Greg; brothers, Gene and wife, Brenda, and Ernie; special friend, Frank Irvin; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank her extended family of the TriState Health and Rehabilitation Center for their love, devotion and care for the last four years. We hold each of you dear to our hearts.

A celebration of her life will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, March 31, 2025 at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel with Rev. Danny Bruce. Cremation services will be cared for at the Arnett & Steele Cremation Center in Pineville, Kentucky following the service. Private inurnment services will be at a later date.

The family will receive friends after 5:00 PM Monday until funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel in Harrogate, which is honored to be serving the Irvin family.
