Marvin Emerson Mayhall, 86 of Middlesboro, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016 at the Middlesboro ARH Hospital. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on March 30, 1929 and was a son of the late Creston C. and Anna Lucile Waggener Mayhall. Marvin had retired from the insurance business and was very active in the Middlesboro and Bell County communities, serving on several boards and committees in the area, and was a charter member of the Bell County Rescue Squad. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Mayhall. Survivors include his wife, Blanche Wellman Mayhall of Middlesboro; son, Robert Mayhall and daughter, Marilyne Mayhall-Asbury; grandchildren, Tyler Mayhall, Evan Denham and Elizabeth Denham and two great-grandchildren; sister, Lucile Seborg, brother, Creston Mayhall and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. A Celebration of his Life will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at the First Christian Church of Middlesboro. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Bell County Rescue Squad, PO Box 873, Middlesboro, KY 40965. The family will receive friends from 1:00PAM until the service hour at the Church.
