Martha Joyce (Welch) Jessie

Martha Joyce Jessie age 86 of Rogersville, passed away January 17, 2019 at her home.  She was born May 23, 1932 in Speedwell, Tennessee to the late William "Bill" and Lottie (Edmondson) Welch.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, William "Bud" Jessie, son, Danny Jessie, brothers; Lawrence Welch, Frank Welch and Henry Welch, sisters; Willette Jessie and Lela Ausmus.

She is survived by her sons; Roger Jessie and Mark Jessie, grandchildren; Chris Jessie, Rachel Stewart, Matthew Jessie, Clay Jessie and Kyle Jessie, sister, Elizabeth Evans and a host of nieces and nephews and other loving family members.

Services will be Sunday, January 20 at 3:00PM at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel with the Rev. Fred Dimond officiating.  Burial will follow in the Welch Cemetery.   Pallbearers; Tony Evans, Jim Jessie, Robin Jessie, Tom Jessie, Charles Jessie and Aaron Stewart.

The family will receive friends Sunday, January 20 from 1:00PM until the funeral hour at 3:00PM at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel.
