Martha Virginia (Rainey) Coleman

Martha Virginia Coleman, age 85 of Harrogate, TN passed away Wednesday, November 20,2019 at the Tri -State Health & Rehabilitation Center in Harrogate.  She was born June 24, 1934 in New Boston, Texas to the late George Wesley and Minnie Smallwood Rainey.  Martha was a member at East Cumberland Avenue Baptist Church in Middlesboro, KY and had been a homemaker.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Faine Coleman, Jr.; brother, Olen Rainey and sister, Pauline Barnard.

She is survived by her children; Janine (Richard) Thomas, Jennifer Coleman and Henry Faine Coleman,III, grandchild, Andrea (Steven) Sulfridge; great-grandchildren, James Travis Mills, Jr. and Kaleb Faine Mills along with a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 22 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the  First Baptist Church of Harrogate with funeral services to follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Ken Cole and Rev. Michael Stooksbury officiating and music will be provided by Linda Ingram and Alan Cooper.  Family and friends will meet at 10:00 AM, Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel, Harrogate, to go in procession to the Oakes Cemetery in New Tazewell, for 11:00 AM graveside service.  Pallbearers will be Richard Thomas, Shaun Miles, Steven Sulfridge, Alan Cooper, John Turpin and James Travis Mills, Jr.
