Martha Brock

Martha Brock, 79, of East Pineville, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Mountain View Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Pineville on October 1, 1936, a daughter of the late Hestle and Lillie Jackson Brock. She was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Lighthouse and had been a cook at Bell Central School Center for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Will Brock; daughter, Janet Lynn Brock; brothers and sister, Rev. Robert Brock, Melvin Brock, Vada Mullins and Millard Brock. brother s-in-law, Virgil Baker, Creed Cornelius and Tommy Mullins. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Teresa nd Danny Wilder, Rhonda and Sam Ridley, Stacy and Edwina Brock; grandchildren, Marissa Newby, Ian Newby, Tabitha McKenny, Jordan Jennings, Eric Brock and Autumn Brock; great-grandchild, Ramona Jennings, sisters, Christine Cornelius, Pauline Baker, Mary Rose and husband, Gaston ; sisters-in-law, Sudie Brock and Katherine Brock and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Services will be at 12:30 PM Sunday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Darrell Lowe, Mr. Gaston Rose, Rev. Hubert Baker. Music will be by Gerald Baker and Brenda Napier. Burial will be in the Brock Burnett Cemetery at East Pineville. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 11:30 until the funeral hour on Sunday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Brock Family.
