Marlin Hubbard Griffin, 55 of Hulen, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at his home. He was born in Pineville on January 23, 1970, a son of the late Clellia and Carrie Kelly Griffin. Marlin had been a janitor at Right Fork School.
Marlin is survived by his sister, Ethel Brock; twin sister, Marlene Hoskins; sister, Laura and Dwayne Lee; special nephew who was like a brother, Scottie Lee; the love of his life and fiancé, Beverly Elliott; aunts and uncles, Norris and Cora Kelly, John and Versa Partin, and Linda Kelly; his cat, Casper; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 7, 2025, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Sanders presiding. Music will be provided by Wanda Blevins and Mickey Wilder. Burial will follow at the Griffin-Kelly Cemetery in Hulen. Pallbearers will be his nephews, Scottie Lee, Aaron Lee, Brandon Lee, Derek McCarty, Dwayne Lee, Rodney Hoskins, Jacob Hensley, and Chris Long.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Griffin Family.
