Marlene Maidon

Marlene Maidon, 81, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 7, 2023. She was a lifelong resident of Bell County, Kentucky. She married her best friend and soulmate, Roy “Gene” Maidon on February 5, 1960. Marlene has three children and was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a vibrant and funny soul, to know her was to love her.

Marlene is preceded in death by her parents, Porter and Della North Partin; husband, Gene Maidon; son, Donnie Ray Maidon; brothers, Lowell Partin, Bill Doc Partin, and Freddy Floyd Partin.

Those who remain and will miss her greatly are her sisters, Modean Smith, Jaquline Jordan, Cora Partin and special brother-in-law, Eddie Partin; children, Kawana Kay Douglas and husband, Frank, and Vivian Ellen Evans and husband, Zyndall; and special daughter, Theresa Miracle and husband, Rodney; grandchildren, John Maidon and wife Mellissa, heather Hollingsworth and husband, Kenny, Kalynn Warwick and husband, DJ, Dustin Evans and wife, Nikki, Monica Thompson, and Brittany Fuson and husband, Eric; great-grandchildren, Austin Hollingsworth and Kinzy Boatright, Kendra Hollingsworth, Zaedyn Thompson, Kainen Warwick, Kinzy Warwick, Rayanna Maidon, Donnie Maidon, Waylon Maidon, JR Maidon, Beau Maidon, Tyson Jones, Faith Fuson, Katie Fuson, Sawyer Evans, Jaxon Evans, Emma Evans, Kaylee Karg, and Maddie Karg; lifelong friends, Ann Maiden and Frances Hunter; and a host of nieces, nephews, special cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 11, 2023, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Clint Goodin presiding. Burial will follow at the Shelton Cemetery in Pineville. Pallbearers will be John Maidon, Dustin Evans, Austin Hollingsworth, DJ Warwick, Rodney Miracle, and Kevin Smith.
