Mark "Tony" Wilson

Mark Anthony “Tony” Wilson, age 72, of Tazewell, Tennessee, passed away in the comfort of his home, on Thursday, July 23, 2026, following a long-term illness.

Born in Middlesboro, Kentucky, on October 5, 1953, to the late Emmitt and Myrtle Wilson, Tony devoted his life to being a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. Tony enjoyed hunting, attending gun shows and “Trade Days” with his father when he was alive and adding to his various collections. He was of the Pentecostal Faith and was a long-time truck driver, until his retirement, for the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Middlesboro, Kentucky. Tony will surely be forever missed.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Amaline Foster and Beverly Cheek; six brothers, Lyle Wilson, Kyle Wilson, Layton “Cotton” Wilson, Donald Wilson, O’Neal Wilson and Larry “Tyrone” Wilson; and two beloved dogs, Sunshine and Dex.

Survivors include his loving and devoted companion of thirty-two years, Clara Wilson; two sons, Michael (Melinda) Wilson and Robert “Bobby” (Jamie) Wilson; four grandchildren, Mason, Matthew, Maddox, Hazel and one on the way; one sister, Theresa Ann Wilson; and beloved dog, Zoe.

Cremation services to be provided by Arnett & Steele Cremation Services.

Private committal services to follow, at Ball Cemetery in Rose Hill, Virginia, at a later date.
