Mark Lyndon Brown, 46 of Arjay, passed away Monday, May 9, 2011 at his home. He was born in Gastonia, N.C. on November 27, 1964, a son of Sidney William and Sherry Lee Long Brown. He had work at Bimbo Bakery U.S. A. and had retired with 20 yrs. of service with the Ranlo Fire and Rescue, Gastonia, NC. He was very active with youth programs in Ranlo and Kings Mountain of N.C., Pack 93 Boy Scouts and was a member of the Masons, Stanley, N.C. A believer in the Pentecostal faith, he was a member of the Little White Country Church, Rutherfordton, N.C. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Maggie Michaels Robinson, Eric Brown and Clyde Finley Long and mother-in-law, Margaret Wilson. He is survived by his wife of 17 yrs., Kentherlan Jackson Brown; son, Jacob Brown of Arjay; stepsons, Joshua Romano and Jackson Wright; a grandson in Charlotte, NC; parents, Sidney and Sherry Brown of Gastonia, NC; brothers, Eric and Jolene Frazier of Gastonia, NC, Sidney Aaron and Christina Brown of Catawba, NC; and Benjamin Tyler Brown of Gastonia, NC; grandparents, Beatrice Brown of Ranlo, NC and Mr. and Mrs. Burl C. Robinson of Dallas, NC; father-in-law, Donald Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends, special uncle and aunt, Butch and Rhonda Robinson of Lincolnton, NC.
