Marjorie Lee "Marge" Baker

Marjorie Lee "Marge" Baker, 81 of Versailles, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at her home. She was born on January 17, 1940, a daughter of the late Russell Fairchild and Ruth Ward. She was a long-time member of the Free Will Baptist Church of Cincinnati, Ohio, the Stonewell Baptist Church of Sadieville, Kentucky, and most recently Faith Baptist Church in Versailles, Kentucky. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her past husbands, Arnold B. Baker (the father of her children) and Donald Ray Baker; her brother, Russ Fairchild; and her sister, Elizabeth Snapp. Marge is survived by her children, Bart Baker, Diana Nesselrode and her husband, Brian, Steve Baker and his wife, Lisa, and Vickie Baker-Smith; five grandchildren, Christy Sallee-Cooke, Michael Baker, Eric Baker, Prescha McDowell, Justin Thurman; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 1, 2021 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Don Howard presiding. Burial will follow at the Sandy Branch Cemetery in Flat Lick. Pallbearers will be Bart Baker, Michael Baker, Eric Baker, Justin Thurman, Tyler Clemons, and Nathaniel Baker. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville which is honored to serve the Baker family.
