Marilyn Ruth Smith

Marilyn Ruth Bischoff Smith, 74, of Pineville, passed away on Friday,February 21, 2014 at the Mountain View Nursing and Rehab Facility. She was born in Peoria , IL on January 5, 1940 a daughter of the late JohnW. and Donna B. Swift Bischoff. Marilyn was a strong believer in Christ and had been a school teacher in the Knox County School System for several years. Survivors include her husband, David L. Smith; daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Jimmy Elliott; grandchildren, Justin Lee Smith, Samuel Smith and Terina Smith; sister and brother, Joyce Bodin, Donald Bischoff and Bobbie Lois Ernst and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be at 6:00 PM Thursday at the Ferndale Pentecostal Church with Rev. James Polly and Rev. Luther Collett. Following Marilyn's wishes she was cremated at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center , Pineville, which is honored to serve the Smith Family. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6:00 PM Thursday at the Ferndale Pentecostal Church. Visitation
