Marie Saylor

Reva Marie Brock Saylor, 74, of Arjay, went to be with her loving Savior on Monday, October 1, 2007 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born on May 9, 1933 at Stoney Fork, the daughter of the late Monroe and Oda Saylor Brock. She was a lifelong member of the Crockett Pentecostal Church and was a wonderful Christian with great faith. She was a sweet mother and homemaker and was the loving wife of the late Harlan Eugene Saylor for over 50 years. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Gene Saylor, sister, Geneva Brock and Anna Faye Brock and brothers, Harlan Brock, Noble Brock and Arlie Gene Brock. Survivors include her daughters, Barbara and Wade Bryant of Arjay, Sheila Saylor of Arjay and Vickie and Lonnie Surgener of Ewing, VA; sons, Ricky Saylor of Arjay and Donnie Wayne and Melissa Saylor of Crank, KY; nine grandchildren, Tracy Gent, Michael Wade Bryant, Crystal Shackleford, Pamela Sowels, Victoria Surgener, Lonnie Surgener, Jr., Haley Saylor, Shannon Saylor and David Saylor; three great-grandchildren, Myra and Megan Gent and Cameron Slusher; brothers, J.B. Brock of Forge Ridge, TN, Burley Brock of Fort Wayne, IN and Darrell Brock of Stoney Fork, KY, special sister in the Lord, Chesney Brock, special aunt, Alice Brock Taylor and family and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
