Marie Philpot

Marie Hoskins Philpot, 87 of Pineville passed away Thursday, October 2, 2008 at her home. She was born in Pineville on January 30, 1921, a daughter of the late Enoch and Roxie Miracle Hoskins. She was a member of Jenson Baptist Church and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Philpot, grandson, Barry Dewayne Philpot, brothers and sisters, Ray, Charles, Irene, Christine and James. Survivors include her sons, Bobby and wife Hazel Philpot of Pineville and Eugene and wife Jessie Philpot of Ross, OH; grandchildren, Stephen Ray (Penny) Philpot, Donnie (Becky) Philpot, Danny Philpot, Dusty Philpot and Rusty Philpot; great-grandchildren, Sheena Nichol Philpot, Stephen Cole Philpot and Jared Philpot; great- great-grandchildren, Travis Ethan and Barry Landon; sisters, Imogene and Maurine; special friend and caregiver, Louise Brock and a host of other relatives and special friends.
